4th and 5th Graders continue building on music literacy concepts, music vocabulary, singing melodies and call and response songs, composing rhythms, improvisation, and performance protocol. Students also expand on singing with clear diction and using different voices (head voice versus chest voice) while singing. 4th Graders have Instrumental Music with Ms. Alice, and Vocal Music with Ms. Jamie. Students will also work as individuals and together as an ensemble in playing instruments including the recorder and violin.
